Juridisko tekstu īpatnības latviešu un lietuviešu valodā

Juridiskā lingvistika ir starpdisciplināra zinātņu joma, kas pēta valodu un tiesības. Tā kā juridiskā valoda ir specifiska un atšķirīga no vispārlietojamās valodas, šā maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt juridisko tekstu īpatnības latviešu un lietuviešu valodā.
Darbam ir divas nodaļas: teorētiskā un praktiskā. Pirmajā nodaļā apkopotas pētnieku atziņas no līdzšinējiem juridiskās lingvistikas pētījumiem, sniegts neliels ieskats latviešu juridiskās valodas attīstībā, kā arī aprakstītas problēmas, kas saistītas ar juridisko tekstu tulkošanas specifiku. Otrajā nodaļā aplūkoti 159 juridiskie termini latviešu valodā un to atbilsmes lietuviešu valodā (pavisam 318 terminu), pētītas juridisko terminu vārddarināšanas, sintakses u. c. īpatnības.

Since legal language has its specific character and it differs from generally used language, the aim of this master’s thesis is to do research into the specific character of legal texts in Latvian and Lithuanian.
The work consists of two sections: theoretical and practical. In the first section, there are gathered conclusions of researchers from the previous research carried out in the area of legal linguistics; there is given a short insight in the development of Latvian legal language as well as described issues related to the specific character of translation of legal texts. In the second section, there are viewed 159 legal terms in Latvian and their references in Lithuanian (in total 318 terms) and there is studied the specific character of word building, syntax and other individualities of legal terminology.
