Autobiogrāfija grāmatā un filmā

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba tēma ir “Autobiogrāfija grāmatā un filmā” un tā mērķis ir atklāt, kā autobiogrāfija tiek atainota grāmatā un filmā. Darbs sastāv no divām galvenajām daļām- teorētiskās un praktiskās. Teorētiskā daļa ir balstīta uz dažādu autobiogrāfistu pētījumiem un viedokļiem, kā arī uz kinematogrāfijas pamatjēdzieniem. Darba autore izvēlējas analizēt Frenka Makkorta grāmatu „Andželas pelni”, ko ekranizējis Alans Parkers. Grāmata atklāj galvenās autobiogrāfijas iezīmes, kas ir pretējas filmā atveidotajām. Grāmatas un filmas analīzes rezultātā atklājās, ka ir būtiskas atšķirības starp abiem iepriekšminētajiem darbiem, lai gan tie veidoti vienā žanrā, proti- pamatojoties uz autobiogrāfijas pamatīpašībām.

The theme of the present thesis is Autobiography in Book and Film and the goal is to analyse how the genre of autobiography is presented in the book and film. The paper consists of two major parts- theoretical and analytical. The theoretical part is based on various studies and outlooks by auto biographers, as well as on the general conceptions of cinematography. The author of the given paper chose to examine Frank McCourt’s book Angela’s Ashes, which is cinematized by Alan Parker. The book reveals the major autobiographical features, which are opposite to those in the film. The analyses of the book and film reveal the difference between film and book, though both are based on the same genre, namely, on the general conceptions of autobiography.
