Bakalaura darba „Noras Ikstenas biogrāfiskās prozas principi” mērķis ir izpētīt, kādus biogrāfiskās prozas principus izmanto rakstniece N. Ikstena, rakstot biogrāfiskās literatūras darbus, un kā šie principi realizējas viņas darbos.
Pētījuma centrā ir rakstnieces N. Ikstenas (1969) individuālās biogrāfiskās rakstības manieres izpēte. Par portretējamajiem objektiem rakstniece izvēlas 20. gs. otrās puses latviešu rakstnieku personības. Galvenais aspekts mākslinieka personības atklāsmē Norai Ikstenai ir daiļrades process.
N. Ikstena meklē jaunus izpausmes veidus žanra aspektā, kas formāli realizējas teksta uzbūves principos. Autores klātbūtne jūtama visos viņas biogrāfisko darbu līmeņos – portretējamo objektu izvēlē, dokumentu atlasē, žanra izpausmēs, teksta uzbūvē, kā arī valodā.
