Džefrija Čosera "Kenterberijas stāstu" un Pītera Ekroida "Klerkenvelas stāstu" salīdzinošā analīze

Šajā bakalaura darbā tika veikta Džefrija Čosera „Kenterberijas stāstu” un Pitera Ekroida „Klerkenvelas stāstu” salīdzinoša analīze. Darbā ir atspoguļota vispārējā 14. gadsimta Anglijas vēsturiskā situācija. Tika salīdzināti temati, abu autoru literatūras pieejas, atbilstoši viņu dzīves gaitai.
Autore iegūto datu analīzes procesā skaidro itertekstualitātes lomu literatūrā. Pamatojoties uz reālisma un intertekstualitātes koncepcijām, ka arī uz viduslaiku Anglijas vēsturisko izpēti, tiek pierādīta viduslaiku poēmas un mūsdienu romāna oriģinalitāti.
Secinājumi balstīti uz literatūras žanru un formu teorijas, ka arī uz četrpadsmitā gadsimta Anglijas vēstures faktiem. Analīzes rezultātā autore secina, ka intertekstualitāte tiek uztverta pareizi tikai tad, ja lasītajam ir informācija par aizgūto tekstu, pretējā gadījumā, tas var tikt uzskatīts par plaģiātu. Olesja Darnopiha’s Bachelor Paper presents comparative analysis of Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer and Clerkenwell Tales by Peter Ackroyd. It gives a general overview of the historical background of both literary works and a detailed comparison of the character casts, themes and approaches of the writers according to the time of their lives.
The author of the Bachelor paper proved the essential role of intertextuality of a literary work in the course of analytical and selective study of the available theory. Based on a conception of realism, intertextuality and historical investigation of Middle Ages, a set of facts was selected for the purpose of clarifying the originality of a medieval poem and modern historical fiction.
The conclusions drawn are based on the examination of the literary theory, according to the genres and forms used by the writers, and historical facts of the fourteenth century England. In conclusion the author of the paper points out that intertextuality can be perceived correctly only if the audience has background knowledge of the text borrowed, or a literary work will be considered a plagiarism.
