Emociju loma angļu valodas apguvē

Abstract

Emociju loma angļu valodas apgūvē ir bakalaura darbs, kas veltīts pētījumam angļu valodas mācību metodoloģijas nozarē. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt emociju lomu dotajā jomā. Pētījuma procesā skolnieku novērošanas un anketēšanas laikā iegūtā informācija tika sistematizēta un analizēta, ņēmot vērā Krašena afektīvā filtra hipotēzi. Balstoties uz analīzes laikā iegūto informāciju, tika izdarīts secinājums, ka afektīvais filtrs samazinās ja tiek izmantoti speciāli šīm nolūkam izstrādāti mācību materiāli (izstradāti pēc teorijas analīzes).

The Role of Affect in the English Language Acquisition is a bachelor paper devoted to the research in the field of English Language Teaching (ELT) methodologies. The goal of this research is to to explore the role of affect in the chosen field. In the process of the action research, the data collected during both the direct observation of the learners' individual performance and filling in the questionnaire is systematized and reflected upon in the light of the Krashen's Affective Filter Hypothesis. On the basis of the obtained data, the conclusion is drawn that the affective filter lowers if the specially designed materials (developed after theory analysis) are used in the teaching/learning process.
