Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Cūku gripas metaforas laikraksta Helsingin Sanomat rakstos” tiek aplūkots metaforu lietojums ikdienas komunikācijā, jo tās pastāv ne tikai dzejā vai citos daiļdarbu veidos, bet arī sadzīvē. Pazīstamie metaforu pētnieki Džordžs Leikofs un Marks Džonsons uzsver metaforas nozīmīgo lomu dzīvē un ikdienas saskarsmē. Problēmas būtība - cilvēki metaforu galvenokārt uztver kā poētisku jeb dzejisku vai retorisku izteiksmes veidu nevis kā ikdienas dzīves parādību. Bakalaura darba mērķis - atrast un salīdzināt metaforu lietojumu laikraksta ‘Helsingin Sanomat’ rakstos par cūku gripu - ir sasniegts. Bakalaura darbā tiek apskatīta teorētiskā literatūra par metaforas jēdzienu, īpašu uzsvaru liekot uz metaforu pētnieku kognitīvajā semantikā, kā arī Džordža Leikofa un Marka Džonsona teoriju par metaforu lietojumu ikdienā. Autore pārliecinājās, ka praktiskais pētījums atbilst teorijā gūtajām atziņām par metaforu lietojumu laikraksta ‘Helsingin Sanomat’ rakstos par cūku gripu.

In the bachelor’s work "The Use of Metaphors in the Articles on H1N1 in ‘Helsingin Sanomat’ are studied metaphors in daily communication, because they exist not only in poetry or other literary forms, but also in everyday life. Well-known metaphor researchers George Leikof and Mark Johnson emphasize the important role of metaphors in real life and everyday communication. The essence of the problem - metaphor is mostly perceived by people as a poetic way of expression rather than as an everyday life phenomenon. The aim of the bachelor's work - to find and compare the use of metaphors in newspaper’s "Helsingin Sanomat” articles on H1N1, has been reached. In bachelor's work theoretical literature on the concept of metaphor is discussed with particular emphasis on the metaphor researchers in cognitive semantics George Leikof’s and Mark Johnson’s theory about usage of metaphor in common life. The author has found that the practical study meets the theory lessons about the use of metaphors in newspaper’s "Helsingin Sanomat" articles on H1N1.
