Alvja Hermaņa postmodernais iestudējums „Revidents” krievu un latviešu kritiķu recenzijās: bakalaura darbs. Rīga, 2012. - 62 lpp. Bakalaura darbs ir veltīts krievu un latviešu kritiķu recenziju pētīšanai. Recenzijas ir veltītas N. Gogoļa komēdijas „Revidents” postmodernai interpretācijai, kuru režisors Alvis Hermanis realizēja uz teātra skatuves. Kritiķu recenzijās parādītu dažādu režisora risinājumu traktējumu un novērtējumu atklāšana ir šī pētījuma mērķis. Šis darbs sastāv no divām daļām. Pirmajā daļā autors vēsturiski izskata komēdijas „Revidents” interpretācijas uz Latvijas teātru skatuvēm, kas ļauj sekot vēsturiski latviešu teātra attīstībai no tā pašiem avotiem līdz pat postmodernismam. Otrajā daļa ir Alvja Hermaņa uzvedumam „Revidents” veltīto recenziju aprakstoša un salīdzinoša analīze. Šis darbs var ieinteresēt pētniekus, kuri nodarbojas ar N. Gogoļa lugas „Revidents” interpretācijām, kā arī piesaistīt uzmanību ar teātra recenziju specifiku.

Postmodern Production The Government Inspector by Alvis Hermanis in the Reviews of the Russian and Latvian Critics: baccalaureate work. – Riga, 2012. – 62 pages. The present paper deals with research of Russian and Latvian critics’ reviews of a postmodern rendering of “The Government Inspector” comedy by Nikolai Gogol staged by a Latvian stage director Alvis Hermanis. The goal of the research is to discern various interpretations and evaluations of directing elements given in critics’ reviews. The thesis consists of two parts. In the first part, the author takes a look at the history of various renderings of “The Government Inspector” performed on Latvian stage, which allows us to trace the history of Latvian theatre’s evolution from its roots to postmodernism. The second part consists of a descriptive and comparative analyses of reviews of “The Government Inspector” play staged by Alvis Hermanis. The thesis may catch the interest of researchers working with various renderings of “The Government Inspector” play by Nikolai Gogol, or with specifics of theatrical reviews.
