Anotācija
Bakalaura darbā tiek aplūkota mācību vārdu savienojumu problēma biznesa angļu valodā. Autors
vērš uzmanību uz vārdu savienojumu lietošanas nozīmību valodā, padarot tās skaņas dabiskas. Šī
darba mērķis ir motivēt nākotnes pasniedzējus ieviest vārdu savienojumus nodarbībās kā
vārdnīcas ieguvuma veidā. Vārdu savienojumi ir nozīmīga vārdnīcas sastāvdaļa un prasa
noteiktu apmācību stratēģiju metodoloģiju un tehniku.
Šī darba autors uzskata, ka šeit ir divas apmācību vārdnīcas pieejas: precīza formulēšana (caur
lasīšanu, rakstīšanu un atcerēšanos) un nejaušība, kas balstās uz verbālo komunikāciju.
Autors sniedz detalizētu vārdu savienojumu analīzi (to definīcijas, klasifikācijas, tipoloģijas) un
pievērš pastiprinātu uzmanību mācību vārdu savienojumiem biznesa angļu valodā. Vārdu
savienojumiem būtu jābūt mācītiem kā integrētas vārdnīcas, gramatikas un nodarbību
komunikācijas aktivitāšu sadaļai.
Autors iepazīst dažāda veida uzdevumus, lai izzinātu, atcerētos un nostiprinātu visbiežāk lietotus
vārdu savienojumus biznesa angļu valodā. Analīzes pamatā bija autentisks biznesa angļu valodas
teksts un sevišķi tā pārzināšana. Šī darba autors izmantoja analistiskās uz salīdzināšanas
metodes, izmantojot interneta mājas lapas, avotus, kas saistīti ar vārdu savienojumiem, intervējot
angļu vietējos iedzīvotājus.
Darba noslēgumā autors sniedz metodoloģijas rekomendācijas un praktiskus padomus kā
palīdzēt nākotnes pasniedzējiem.

The Bachelor’s paper deals with the problem of teaching collocations in Business English. The author draws attention to the importance of using collocations in the language to make it sound natural. The purpose of this paper is motivating future teachers to integrate collocations into lessons as a way of vocabulary acquisition. Collocations are an important constituent part of vocabulary and require certain learning and teaching strategies methodology and techniques. The author of this paper considers that there are two main approaches in teaching/learning vocabulary: explicit (through reading, noting and memorizing) and incidental which is based on verbal communication. The author gives a detailed analysis of collocations (their definition, classification, typology) and lays great emphasis on teaching collocations in Business English. Collocations should be taught as an integrated part of vocabulary, grammar and communication activities during the lessons. The author introduces different types of exercises meant to introduce, memorize and consolidate the most frequently used collocations in Business English. The corpus covered for analyzing was authentic texts on Business English and management in particular. The author of this paper employed analytical and comparative methods for writing this paper browsing internet pages, sources on collocations interviewing English native speakers to learn their opinion about collocations and their usage. At the end of the paper the author gives some methodological recommendations and practical assignments to help future teachers.
