Silvio Berluskoni privātās dzīves skandālu rāmējums Itālijas un Latvijas laikrakstu elektroniskajās versijās (2010-2011)

Abstract

Bakalaura darba „Silvio Berluskoni privātās dzīves skandālu rāmējums Itālijas un Latvijas laikrakstu elektroniskajās versijās (2010 – 2011)” mērķis ir analizēt un salīdzināt abu valstu medijos rodamos Itālijas premjera rāmējumus, vēršot uzmanību ne vien uz tajos rodamajām atšķirībām un to, kā privātās dzīves skandāli ietekmē politiķa tēlu un valsts prestižu, bet pievērst uzmanību arī tam, kāda ir medija loma rāmējuma veidošanā. Darbā apskatīti teorētiskie aspekti par privāto dzīvi un tās atveidojumu masu medijos, īpašu uzmanību veltot politiķu privātās dzīves skandāliem mediju telpā. Aplūkoti arī Latvijas un Itālijas mediju sistēmas raksturojumi, kā arī sniegts ieskats S. Berluskoni politiskajā un biznesa darbībā, fokusējoties uz tās ietekmi pār masu medijiem Itālijā. Darba ietvaros veiktā pētījuma rezultāti norāda, ka Latvijā S. Berluskoni privātās dzīves atveidojumā dominē skandalozitātes aspekts, izvairoties no padziļinātas analīzes, tādējādi kultivējot stereotipizētu Itālijas politisko norišu izpratni. Taču Itālijas medijos rodamie rāmējumi variē, vadoties pēc to īpašnieku formulētajām politiskajām simpātijām.

The aim of the Bachelor’s thesis named “The Framing of the private life scandals of Silvio Berlusconi in the electronic versions of Italian and Latvian newspapers (2010 – 2011)” is to analyse and compare the framing of the Italian prime minister in Latvian and Italian media, paying special attention not only to the differences in those frames and the impact of the private life scandals on the image of the politician and the country, but also applying attention to the role of the media in the process of framing. The issue describes the theoretical aspects of the private life and its representation in the mass media, paying special attention to the politician’s private life scandals in the media. It also reports the characteristics of the media systems in Latvia and Italy and gives an introduction to the description of the Silvio Berlusconi’s political and entrepreneurship activities, focusing on their impact on the Italian mass media. The research results included in the thesis draws to the conclusions that the representation of the private life of Silvio Berlusconi in Latvia is dominated by the aspect of scandalousness that leads to the lack of the deeper analysis and cultivates stereotypical view on the happenings of the Italian politics. Notwithstanding the framings in the Italian media largely varies based on the political affinity of the media owners.
