Politiskās atbildības jautājums ir svarīgs, jo, kaut gan politiskā vara teorētiski pieder visiem valsts iedzīvotājiem, pastāvīgi to savās ikdienas gaitās izmanto salīdzinoši neliels iedzīvotāju skaits. Tieši vēlētāju un ievēlēto izpratne par atbildību nosaka, vai un kā politiskā atbildība tiek ievērota, vai un cik atbilstoši iedzīvotāju interesēm tiks pieņemti lēmumi
Lai izpētītu jautājumu atbilstoši darba problēmjautājumam un hipotēzei, par darba mērķi nosaku: radīt tādu normatīvo politiskās atbildības konceptu, kas nosaka pēc iespējas lielāku politiskās darbības tuvošanos demokrātijas ideālam reprezentatīvās demokrātijas apstākļos, un šīs koncepcijas salīdzināšanu ar 8. Saeimas partiju izpratni par politisko atbildību, un to reālo izpildījumu. The question of political responsibility is important, because although theoretically political power in nation is equally divided, daily it is used by a comparatively small group of population. It is voters’ and elected understanding of responsibility which determines if and how political responsibility is taken info account, and if and how according to interests of people the decisions will be made
To explore the question accordingly to work’s problem question and hypothesis, the aim of work is: to create such normative concept of political responsibility, which determines the closest approaching of ideal of democracy in conditions of representative democracy, and to compare this concept with 8th Saeima political parties’ understanding of political responsibility, both normatively and empirically.
