Žurnālistisko prakšu modifikācija LTV diskusiju raidījumā "Kas notiek Latvijā?" (2001─2006)

Abstract

Pētījumā apskatīts vienīgais pastāvīgais politisko debašu raidījums Latvijas televīzijās, mēģinot noteikt žurnālistisko prakšu modifikācijas laika posmā no 2001. līdz 2006. gadam. Darbu caurvij franču sociālantropologa Pjēra Burdjē teorētiskie koncepti – prakšu jēdziens, habitus, kā arī viņa uzskati par televīzijas lomu un funkciju sabiedrībā. P. Burdjē spriedumi ir ietekmējuši arī darbā izmantotās kvalitatīvās pētniecības metodes – Kritiskās diskursa analīzes – autora Normana Fērklofa (Norman Fairclough) uzskatus, piedāvājot specifiskāku skatījumu šīs metodes pielietošanā. Darbā arīdzan apskatīti politisko debašu raidījumu pētījumi dažādās pasaules valstīs, tie arīdzan salīdzināti ar Burdjē uzskatiem. Pētījuma rezultātā secināts, ka raidījuma funkcijas saistītas ar dalībnieku centieniem leģitimizēt savas darbības. Raidījumā dominējot romantiskā naratīva žanram, būtībā tiek atkārtotas ritualizētas prakses ar mērķi nostiprināt skatītājos ticību par to nepieciešamību. Paper deals with the only regular political debates broadcast in televisions of Latvia. to examine the modification of journalistic practices in period 2001-2006. Whole work bases on French social anthropologist Pierre Bourdieu theoretical framework and also his viewpoints about the functions of television in the society. The thoughts of P. Bourdieu influenced also Norman Fairchlough, the author of the Critical discourse analysis method, used in the paper, offering particular point of view on the use of the method. The work also looks on the researches of political debates broadcasts in the world, and compares them to Bourdieu viewpoint. The main concludes are that the functions of the broadcast are connected to the legitimisation of the activities of participants. The romantic narrative is the genre, which dominates in the broadcast, and this genre supports the repeating of ritualised practices to strengthen the thrust of audience towards the necessity of it.
