''Dzimtes atspoguļojums vīriešu žurnālos ''Playboy Latvija'' un ''Playboy USA'' salīdzinošā analīze (2012-2013) '' mērķi ir noteikt vīriešu un sieviešu dzimtes tēlu diskursus laika posmā no 2012.-2013. gadam,konstatēt atšķirības un noteikt tendences attiecībā uz vietējo saturu.
Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkots dzimtes jēdziens, tā izveidošanās, dzimtes lomas, to īpašības un to konstruēšana, stereotipi, dzimtes stereotipi un to konstruēšana.
Darba pētnieciskajā daļā tiek izmantota kvantitatīvā un kvalitatīvā kontentanalīze, kā arī kritiskā diskursa analīze.
Konstatēti tādi vīriešu tēla diskursi kā biznesmenis, asais, ''izturīgais ozols'', cīnītājs, ''maizes pelnītājs'', pavedējs, ģimenes galva, ''mīkstais'', uzticīgais vīrs un tādi sieviešu tēla diskursi kā seksīgā sieviete, ''māte'', ''bērns'', ''dzelzs lēdija'', uzticīgā sieva.

The theoretical basis consists of terms gender and its development, gender roles, their trends and construction, stereotypes and gender stereotypes, their construction and theory about men’s lifestyle magazines.
The empirical part of this Bachelor thesis is formed by using content analysis and critical discourse analysis.
Results show that there are men gender role discourses – businessman, macho, ''sturdy oak'', fighter, ''breadwinner'', seducer, ''wimp'', faithful husband; aand women gender role discourses – sexy woman, ''mother'', ''child'', ''iron lady'' and faithful wife.
