Ģeogrāfisko informācijas sistēmu apguve interešu izglītībā

Abstract

Darba mērķis ir nodrošināt skolēniem iespēju apgūt ĢIS tehnoloģiju lietošanu interešu izglītībā, tādējādi sekmējot arī skolēnu izpratni par pasaules telpisko dimensiju. Pētījumā, analizējot zinātnisko literatūru, tika apzināta ĢIS izmantošanas nozīme mūsdienīgā mācību procesā, atklājot gan ieguvumus, gan raksturīgākos šķēršļus sekmīgai izmantošanai. Pētījuma gaitā interešu izglītības pulciņā tika izmēģināts autores veidotais metodiskais materiāls ĢIS apguvei un tika veikts tā novērtējums. Darbā secināts, ka, izmantojot interešu izglītību kā brīvu un neformālu mācību vidi, ir iespējams nodrošināt ĢIS apguvi, tādējādi attīstot arī telpisko inteliģenci.

The aim of this workis to provide students with posibility to learn GIS technology in interest related education, thereby advancing their insight about worlds spatial dimension. Inresearch, by analayzing the scientific literature GIS application role in modern learning process was identified, revealing benefits and obstacles to the successful application. During the research methodological material of GIS learning created by the author was tested in interested related aducation and then evaluated. In the paper author concludes that it is possible to provide GIS learning, that results in developement of spatial intelligence, ininterestrelatededucationasin a free and informal learning environment.
