Šī maģistra darba mērķis ir parādīt, cik svarīga ir tirgus izpēte uzņēmuma lēmumu pieņemšanā, jo īpaši, ja tiek pielāgoti produkti vai koncepcijas uz ārvalstu tirgiem. Lai atbalstītu šo teoriju, darbā iekļauts piemērs par franču nagu bāra koncepcijas pielāgošanu Latvijā. Darbā ir izstrādātas trīs galvenās daļas: Tirgus izpētes jēdziena definīcija, tirgus izpēte par Latvijas un pasaules kosmētikas tirgu, un, visbeidzot, nagu bāra "Frenchy Touch" izveide Rīgā. The purpose of this master thesis is to demonstrate the importance of Market Research in the decision-making of a company, especially when adapting a product or a concept to a foreign market. To support this theory the thesis includes the adaptation of a French nails bar concept in Latvia. This work is presented in three major parts: The definition of the market research concept, a market research regarding Latvia, and the global cosmetic market, and finally the creation of the nails bar “Frenchy Touch” in Riga.
