Abstract

Izvēlētās tēmas aktualitāti nosaka vertikālās integrācijas uzbūves metodikas izstrāde un stratēģijas analīze, kas ļautu novērtēt dotās stratēģijas rezultativitāti un noteikt optimālo integrācijas izvērsumu Latvijas apstākļos. Pētījuma mērķis ir vertikāli integrēto Latvijas kompāniju funkcionēšanas efektivitātes novērtēšana un struktūru veidošana, praktisko metožu izstrādāšana, pamatotu pārvaldes lēmumu pieņemšanai. Maģistra darbs veltīts, teorētisko un praktisko Latvijas kompāniju vertikālās integrācijas mehānismu aspektu izpētei pasaules tirgū. Darbs sastāv no ievada, trijām nodaļām, secinājumiem un priekšlikumiem. Darba pirmajā nodaļā, vadoties pēc ekonomiskās literatūras, no teorētiskā aspekta, tiek izskatīta vertikālās integrācijas tipoloģija, integrācijas veidi, priekšrocības un trūkumi. Teorētiskā nodaļa ir pamats turpmākam pētījumam. Darba otrā nodaļā veltīta vertikālās integrācijas uzbūves metodoloģijas, motivācijas un efektivitātes analīzes, vertikālās kontroles, vertikālo ierobežojumu, tai skaitā ārzemju pieredzes, izpētei. Algoritma metodoloģijas iepazīšana un analīze turpmākam darbam. Darba trešajā nodaļā tiek apskatīta vertikāli integrēto Latvijas kompāniju funkcionēšanas efektivitātes novērtēšana, kā arī tiek izstrādāts veidošanās algoritms. Veikta informācijas un telekomunikācijas industriju vertikālās integrācijas valsts projekta analīze. Atslēgas vārdi: VERTIKĀLA INTEGRĀCIJA, VERTIKĀLĀ KONTROLE, FRANŠĪZES. Izstrādājot pamata nolikumus, pētījuma teorētisko pamatu veidoja fundamentālie darbi un ekonomistu pētījumi nozaru tirgu funkcionēšanas un korporatīvās vadīšanas jomā, rūpniecības integrācijas problēmu, tajā skaitā vertikālās integrācijas specifikas, integrēto struktūru efektivitātes analīzes, integrēto kompāniju dažādu funkcionēšanas aspektu modelēšanas jautājumu jomā.

The topicality of the chosen theme: the analyses of the development and strategy for vertical integration structure methodology which permits to estimate the effectiveness of the respective strategy and to determine the optimum depth in the conditions of Latvia. The aim of the research: to estimate the operation efficiency and to create the structures of vertically integrated Latvian companies in Latvia, as well to develop the practical methods for making justified administrative decisions. The master paper is devoted to the research of the aspects of vertical integration mechanisms of Latvian companies in the global market. The paper contains introductions, three chapters, conclusions and proposals. The first chapter: on the bases of the literature on the economics there is developed the typology of vertical integration, depicted the ways of integration, its advantages and disadvantages from the theoretical point of view. The theoretical chapter serves as the bases for further research. The second chapter: is devoted to the research on the methodology of vertical integration structure, analyses of motivation and efficiency, vertical control, vertical limitations, including the experience analyses of foreign companies. The third chapter: shows the evaluation of operational effectiveness in vertically integrated Latvian companies, as well develops the algorithm of their creation. There is also performed the analyses of vertical integration state project in information and telecommunication industry. Key words: VERTICAL INTEGRATION, VERTICAL CONTROL, FRANCHISE. The theoretical and informational background of the research. By developing the basic regulations the theoretical background of the paper consists of fundamental works and the research made by the economists in the following fields: the functioning and corporative management of various market sectors, the problems of industrial integration, including the specifics of the vertical integration, the efficiency analyses of integrated structures and concerning the issues of modeling various functioning aspects in the integrated companies.
