Siguldas kā centra loma

Abstract

Bakalaura darba izstrādes gaitā veiktie pētījumi un iegūtie rezultāti sniedz informāciju par Siguldas pilsētu un Siguldas kā centra lomu novada veidošanā. Darba gaitā autors iepazinās ar pieejamo literatūru par pašvaldību funkcijām, reformu veidošanu, apdzīvojuma struktūru un apdzīvotu vietu centra funkcijām. Veica Siguldas pilsētas pieguļošajās pašvaldībās anketēšanu un ieguva Swedbank datus. Dati tika apstrādāti ar programmu ArcGis un Exel. Tā rezultātā ir izveidots Siguldas novada iespējamais modelis. Darbs sastāv no sešām nodaļām, pirmajā nodaļā ir apskatīta teorētiskās nostādnes par pašvaldībām, pašvaldību reformu, apdzīvojuma struktūru, apdzīvojuma centra funkcijām un pilsētām un to funkcijām. Otrajā nodaļa ir izklāstītas darbā izmantotās metodes un materiālu ieguves veidi. Trešā nodaļa ir par Siguldas pilsētas vēsturi. Ceturtajā nodaļa ir Siguldas pilsētas apskats. Piektā nodaļa sastāv no iepriekšējo Siguldas novada projektu apskata un salīdzinājuma. Sestajā nodaļā ir iekļauts darba laikā izstrādātais Siguldas novada racionālākais modelis. Nodaļā ir iegūto datu analīze, kā arī novada modeļa izklāsts. Darbā ir iekļauti 16 attēli un trīs tabulas.

The research and the results thereof provide information on the city of Sigulda and the role of Sigulda as a region centre in the sphere of region formation. During the work the author has acquainted himself with the available literature sources on functions of municipalities, reform implementation, population structures and functions of a populated area centre. Furthermore, the author has carried out a survey in the adjacent municipalities of Sigulda and obtained data from Swedbank. The data was processed with the programs ArcGis 9.2 and Microsoft Excel. As a result a potential Sigulda region model has been drawn up. The work consists of 6 parts, with the first one examining theoretical formulations of municipalities, municipality reform, population structure, functions of a populated area centre as well as cities and their functions. The second part explains the methods of implemented work and the means of obtaining informative material. The third part covers the history of Sigulda city. The fourth part contains an overview of Sigulda. The fifth part consists of an overview of former Sigulda region projects and their comparison. The sixth part contains the drawn up model of a region of Sigulda which the author claims to be the most rational. The part also contains an analysis of the obtained data as well as a recital of the region model. 16 images and 3 tables are included in the work. Work consist of 55 pages and 1 apposition.
