This Bachelor Paper ‘The morphology, structure and origin of North – Eastern Kursas castle mound’ consists of four parts: 1) literature review, 2) working methods and materials, 3) location of North – Eastern hillforts in relief mezoform complexes and 4) features and genesis of morphological structure of hillfort. The aim of the work is to make out the genesis of North – Eastern Kursas hillforts through the morphological features and geological structure.
To achieve the aim of the Paper literature and cartographical materials were analyzed, where former investigations are described in the first part of the Paper. In the second part of the Paper visual analysis, test drilling and probing works, the measurements of slope angle and other working methods are described.
In the third part of the Paper the placement of North – Eastern Kursas hillforts in relief mezoform complexes is stated and it is divided into three main mezoform groups: uneven and hilly plains and erosion pallets. More over, former researches of the territory are compared with the obtained results in castle mound and in territory beyond them.
In ‘The morphological features of the structure and genesis of hillforts` features of structure of the castle mound, forming silt circumstances, slope differences in different mezoform complexes are analyzed. Features of relative and absolute height are examined; in addition to the description the result tables and images are added. This part is mainly based on the author’s researches and the conclusions that were made.
Finally the conclusions about the differences and similarities of morphogenesis of hillforts, morphological features in relief mezoform complexes, the importance of relative height, forming regularity of aqueous and differences of the first territory were united.
The length of this Bachelor Paper is 71 pages with appendixes. There are 14 images, 12 tables, one diagram and 9 appendixes in the Paper.
