Abstract
Bakalaura darbā tiek apskatīts Rīgas līča krasta posms no Skultes līdz Daugavgrīvai, ir
izveidots literatūras apskats par jūras krasta procesiem un tos ietekmējošajiem faktoriem.
Apskatīti jūras krastu ģeoloģiskajā monitoringā iegūtie rezultāti un aprakstīti nozīmīgākie
krasta erozijas gadījumi Rīgas līcī pēdējo desmitgažu laikā. Sīkāk analizēti atsevišķi
konkrētās vietas krasta procesus vislabāk raksturojošie nivelēšanas profilu un Zvejniekciemā
izveidoto stāvkrasta atkāpšanās pētījumu stacionāru dati. Darba noslēgumā sniegts īss ieskats
par potenciāli iespējamo apbūves apdraudētību krasta procesu tālākas attīstības gaitā.
Darbā ir četras nodaļas, tā kopējais apjoms ir 50 lappuses, tekstu papildina 30 attēli –
kartes, grafiki un fotogrāfijas.

Bachelor’s paper deals with the coastal processes in a section from Skulte to Daugavgriva. The literature review about coastal processes and dynamics are made. The data from coastal monitoring program are also reviewed and largest coastal erosion events in Gulf of Riga are examined. In depth analyses about the most characteristic beach leveling contours and in Zvejniekciems located coastal slope retreating research stations are made. At the end of the paper a possibilities about a future threat to buildings and infrastructure due to progressing coastal erosion are examined. Paper contains 4 chapters, total number of pages is 82. Text is illustrated by 30 images – maps, graphics and photos. Key words: accumulation, erosion, coastal processes, dynamics, coastal zone.
