Zusammenfassung
Bakalaura darbā „Smiltenes jauniešu mobilitāte” tiek pētīta jauniešu pārvietošanās lokālā un reģionālā līmenī. Smiltenes jauniešiem raksturīga augsta mobilitāte un gatavība mainīt dzīves vietu, kas saistīta ar vēlmi pārcelties uz dzīvi Rīgā vai uz kādu citu no Latvijas pilsētām. Kā iemesls ir izglītības iegūšanas iespējas, jo īpaši augstākās izglītības, kā arī plašākas darba un karjeras iespējas.
Ģeogrāfiskā mobilitāte ietver visa veida pārvietošanos no vienas teritorijas uz citu. Rīga ir viens no populārākajiem jauniešu mobilitātes galamērķiem uz kurieni dodas 46 % no aptaujātajiem jauniešiem. Par galveno iemeslu tam ir augstākās izglītības iegūšana un darba meklējumi, 38 % no aptaujātajiem respondentiem par savu patstāvīgo dzīves vietu ir izvēlējušies savu dzimto pilsētu Smilteni.

The young people of Smiltene are ready to change their place of residence due to desire to move to Riga or any other city in Latvia. Education and employment are the most common motives for migration urged by intentions to study and obtain better job and career.
Geographic mobility includes all types of people movements from one area to another. 46% of surveyed young people of Smiltene choose to move to Riga, because of the higher education and better job opportunities, 38% of respondents indicated native Smiltene as a hometown or permanent place of living.
