Zusammenfassung
Maģistra darbs „Biogēno elementu slodzes un tās ietekmējošie faktori Salacas baseinā” ir veltīts ūdens kvalitāti ietekmējošo faktoru izpētei. Darba mērķis ir novērtēt kopējā slāpekļa un fosfātjonu slodzes Salacas baseinā un to ietekmējošos faktorus.
Darba pirmajā daļā ir veikts literatūras apskats par biogēno elementu slodžu veidošanos un biogēno elementu aizturēšanas procesiem, kā arī sniegts Salacas baseina fiziski-ģeogrāfiskais raksturojums. Otrajā sadaļā aprakstīti izmantotie materiāli un upju slodžu aprēķinu metodika. Trešajā daļā sniegts biogēno elementu slodžu novērtējums Salacas baseinam par 2007. un 2008. gadu, novērtēti slodžu avoti un biogēno elementu aizturēšanas apjomi, analizētas kopsakarības starp ūdens ķīmisko sastāvu un zemes lietojuma veidu.
Darbs sastāv no 56 lapām, 17 attēliem, 6 tabulām un pielikuma.

The aim of the study is to assess loads of phosphates and total nitrogen in the River Salaca catchment and influencing factors.
The first part discusses the theoretical viewpoint of riverine nutrient loads and nutrient retention. There is given description of the Salaca River basin. Second part describes data and methodology, used in nutrient load estimation and source apportionment. Information on estimated nutrient loads for years 2007 and 2008 source apportionment and nutrient retention are included in the third part. Relationship between water chemical compostion and land cover data is analyzed.
Paper consists of 56 pages, 17 pictures, 6 tables and appendix.
