Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Šamisena māksla no Edo perioda līdz mūsdienām” veltīts japāņu tradicionālā mūzikas instrumenta, šamisena un tā spēles īpašību attīstības analīzei, sākot no Edo perioda, beidzot ar mūsdienām, un tā kulturālā konteksta apskatei japāņu sabiedrībā.

The thesis is titled „The Art of Shamisen from the Edo Period till Nowadays” and focuses on the analysis of the traditional Japanese musical instrument, shamisen and the development of the characteristics of its manner of play from the Edo period until nowadays, as well as on the cultural context of the shamisen in Japanese society.
