Mijkultūras prasmju veidošana angļu valodas stundās izmantojot drāmas elementus

Diplomdarbs atspoguļo diskusiju par kultūras, starpkultūru kompetences un drāmas jēdzieniem. Darba autors iztirzā dažādu pētnieku izvirzītās teorijas, saistītas ar šiem jēdzieniem. Diplomdarba mērķis ir veicināt un attīstīt skolēnu starpkultūras izpratni, izmantojot drāmas aktivitātes angļu valodas stundās.
Lai sasniegtu diplomdarbā izvirzīto mērķi, autore ir izveidojusi un praksē pielietojusi aktivitātes, balstītas uz drāmu un pieskaņojusi tās izvēlētajai mērķauditorijai, ņemot vērā skolēnu vecumu un valodas apguves līmeni.
Lai apzinātu, cik efektīvi skolēni ir izpratuši starpkultūru kompetenci ar drāmas aktivitāšu palīdzību, autore ir veikusi mutiskas intervijas un anketēšanu atgriezeniskās saites iegūšanai.
Praktisko pētījumu rezultāti atspoguļo skolēnu interesi, kreativitāti un drāmas efektivitāti, attīstot viņu starpkultūru izpratni.
Atslēgvārdi: starpkultūru kompetence, kultūra, drāma The present diploma paper discusses the concept of “culture”, “intercultural competence” and “drama”. The author of the paper reviews the theories suggested by different researchers concerning these notions. The aim of the present study is to develop the students’ intercultural competence using drama activities at English language lessons.
In order to accomplish the aim of the study, the author has designed and carried out drama-based lessons to the target population, taking into account the learners’ age and their language proficiency.
To discover the effectiveness of developing the students’ intercultural competence through a number of drama activities the author of the paper carried out oral interviews and asked for the learners’ feedback in the form of a questionnaire.
The results of the empirical study reveal the students’ interest and creativity towards drama activities, as well as the efficiency of drama when developing learners’ intercultural competence.
