Moto funkcijas latviešu modernistu darbos (20. gs. sākums)

Abstract

Maģistra darba „Moto funkcijas latviešu modernistu darbos (20. gs. sākums)” izpētes objekts ir moto un tā izmantošana latviešu modernistu darbos 20. gs. sākumā. Pētīta 20. gs. sākuma latviešu literatūras ietekmēšanās no cittautu literatūrām, aktualizējot moto pielietojumu kā modernismam raksturīgu parādību. Darbā raksturotas moto funkcijas latviešu modernistu darbos; apzināti avoti, no kuriem izmantoti citējumi; sistematizēti kopīgie tēli, motīvi, tendences, kas vieno 20. gadsimta sākuma latviešu literatūru un citēto autoru poētiku; raksturoti moto izmantošanas mērķi; pievērsta uzmanību moto intertekstualitātei un raksturīgākajiem kultūrkodiem latviešu modernismā. Analīzei izmantoti tie dzejas krājumi (E. Virzas „Biķeris”, V. Eglīša „Elēģijas” un „Hipokrēna”, K. Jākobsona „Poēmas” un A. Austriņa „Vakardiena”), kuros moto pielietojums ir kvantitatīvi visbiežākais.

Research object of master's work („Functions of Motto in Latvian Modernists Works (Beginning of 20th Century”)) ir motto and use of it in latvian modernist's works in beginning of 20th century. Research object is literature of beginning of 20th century and it's influece by literature of other nations, activating the motto as a characteristic phenomenon of modernism. Work describes functions of mottos in Latvian modernist's works; identified motto using sources; systematized common characters, themes, tendencies, which unite Latvian literature of the beginning of 20th century and poetics of citated authors; describes purposes of motto use; attentioned to intertextuality of mottos and typical cultural codes in latvian modernism. Object of analysis is poetry collections (E. Virza's "The Goblet", V. Eglitis' "Elegies" and "Hippocrene”, K. Jakobsons' "Poems"and A. Austriņš' "Yesterday"), which uses the mottos is quantitatively the most common.
