Abstract

Maģistra darbs “Andreja Žagara iestudējumi Latvijas Nacionālajā operā (2003.-2012.)” veltīts vienam no vadošajiem Latvijas Nacionālās operas režisoriem un šī teātra valdes priekšsēdētājam Andrejam Žagaram. Darba mērķis ir analizēt Andreja Žagara režijai raksturīgos paņēmienus – postmodernismam raksturīgo darbības laika un telpas transformāciju, darbu ar solistiem kā aktieriem pēc Konstantīna Staņislavska reālpsiholoģiskā teātra metodes, kā arī atsevišķu simbolu lietojumu. Analizēta arī A. Žagara izrādēm raksturīgā vienas darbības telpas transformācija, kā arī video un gaismu partitūras nozīme. Izrāžu analīzē pētītas tiešās un netiešās ietekmes no dažādu valstu operas režisoriem. Andreja Žagara režija skatīta 21. gadsimta Latvijas un pasaules operas režijas tendenču kontekstā. Stage Productions of Andrejs Žagars in Latvian National Opera (2003 – 2012). The subject of the Master’s theses is the work of the board chairman of Latvian National Opera and one of it’s leading directors Andrejs Žagars. The main goal of this work is the analysis of directing techniques important to Andrejs Žagars, which include the transformation of the time and the space characteristic for postmodernism, work with actors on the foundations of the Method created by Konstantin Stanislavski, as well as usage of certain symbols in his productions. The importance of the video and stage lighting and the transformation of the space, an important aspect of A.Žagars work, is also analysed. The research of productions made by series of world known opera directors has been done in order to find direct and indirect influence on A.Žagars work. His productions have also been analysed by taking into account the most important trends of Latvian and world opera direction in 21st century.
