Putnkopības nozares terminoloģija

Abstract

Diplomdarbs ir veltīts putnkopības nozares terminoloģijai. Autore strādā lielākajā olu ražošanas uzņēmumā – akciju sabiedrībā “Balticovo” – un izmanto savu darba pieredzi šajā nozarē. Viņas darbs ir saistīts ar putnkopībai veltītu rakstu tulkošanu, tādēļ putnkopības nozares termini ir aplūkoti arī no tulkotāja viedokļa. Darba mērķis ir bijis iepazīties ar pašreizējo situāciju terminoloģijas attīstībā Latvijā, iepazīstināt ar putnkopību kā nozari un terminu avotu, analizēt vārdu veidošanas modeļus latviešu un angļu valodā, runāt par nozares profesionālo terminoloģiju, aplūkot terminu bāzu veidošanas metodes un izveidot putnkopības nozares vārdnīcu. Darbu veido 6 nodaļas ar 17 tabulām un 3 grafikiem, 13 pielikumi un literatūras saraksts ar 72 avotiem.The diploma paper is dedicated to terminology in poultry farming. The author works for the biggest egg producer – stock company Balticovo and shares her own experience in the branch. She is involved in translation activities of poultry-specific articles so the terms of poultry farming have also been analysed from the point of view of the translator. The paper aims at dealing with the current situation of development of terminology in Latvia, examining poultry farming as a branch and source of terms, analysing types of word formation in Latvian and English, speaking about the existence of professional language in the industry, touching upon methods of creating term bases and compiling a glossary of terms in poultry farming. The paper consists of 6 chapters with 17 tables, 3 charts, 13 appendices, and bibliography of 72 sources.
