Zusammenfassung
Bakalaura darbam "Mēme kā globālās komunikācijas veids" ir izvirzīts viens darba mērķis – izpētīt mēmes aktualizāciju pasaulē un Latvijā, rodot izpratni par tās nozīmi komunikācijas procesā.
Darba teorētiskā daļa tiek iedalīta divās daļās. Pirmajā daļā tiek apskatīta mēme no teorētiskās perspektīvas. Otrajā daļā tiek veikta komunikācijas globālajā telpā teorētiska analīze.
Bakalaura darba pētījums tiek balstīts uz četrām pētnieciskajām metodēm – literatūras analīzes, anketēšanas, intervēšanas un semiotiskās kontentanalīzes.
Darba gala rezultātā tiek iegūti dati par to, kāda ir mēmes aktualizācija pasaulē un Latvijā.

The theoretical part of the Paper has been divided in two parts. The first part deals with meme from the theoretical perspective. In the second part has been done the theoretical analysis of the communication in the global space.
The research of the Bachelor paper has been based on four research methods – literature analysis, inquiry, interviews and semiotic content analysis.
Data of what the topicality of meme is in the world has been collected as the result of the Paper.
