Zusammenfassung
Darba tēma ir “Nāve autoavārijās un tās atveide ziņu portālu tvnet.lv un delfi.lv vizuālajos materiālos”. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā ziņu portālos tvnet.lv un delfi.lv pievienotie vizuālie materiāli atveido traģiskās autoavārijas, kurās dzīvību zaudējis kāds cilvēks. Darbs ir strukturēts četrās daļās – teorijas daļā aplūkotas autoru atziņas par interneta medijiem, to specifiku, nāvi interneta medijos un to atspoguļojumu, metodoloģijas daļā raksturotas trīs izmantotās pētniecības metodes – kvantitatīva vizuālā kontentanalīze, salīdzinošā metode un semiotiskā analīze, empīriskajā daļā veikts pētījums par nāves atveidi interneta portālu tvnet.lv un delfi.lv vizuālajos materiālos, secinājumu un rezultātu daļā aprakstīti secinājumi un galvenās atziņas, kas iegūtas darba izstrādes gaitā.

The goal of the project is to research how the visual material that shows car crashes in which people have lost their lives is represented in tvnet.lv and delfi.lv news portals. The project is divided into four separate parts – theory, methodology, empirical research and results. In theory section I try to describe my opinion about the internet media, their specifics, death and its representation in them. Methodology section describes the three used research methods - quantitative content analysis, comparative method and semiotic analysis. Empirical research focuses on the death portrayal in the visual material created by tvnet.lv and delfi.lv. In conclusion and results section I describe the conclusions and the main recognitions which I gained throughout the project lifecycle.
