Imigrācijas izaicinājums Vācijas Federatīvajai Republikai pēc 1989. gada

Abstract

Identitāte ir viens no nozīmīgākajiem mūsdienu sabiedrības raksturlielumiem. Nacionālā identitāte ir īpaši svarīga, jo tā tiek saistīta ar valsts leģitimitāti. Darbā izvirzītā hipotēze – „Imigrācija mūsdienu Vācijas Federatīvajā Republikā ir nozīmīgs nacionālās identitātes veidošanas komponents”. Pētījumā tiek piedāvātas dažādu autoru teorētiskās nostādnes par nacionālās identitātes jēdzienu un nozīmi mūsdienu demokrātiskajā sabiedrībā, un veidi, kādos imigrācija ietekmē nacionālās identitātes veidošanos. Tā kā darbā tiek aplūkota nacionālās identitātes un nacionālās identitātes savstarpējās korelācijas, darbā attiecīgi īsi tiek aplūkots Vācijas imigrācijas vēsture un nacionālās identitātes veidošanas process līdz 1989. gadam, kā arī turpmākā norise pēc Vācijas atkal apvienošanas.

Identity is one of the most important modern democratic society characterizations. National identity is even more important, because it deals with the state legitimacy. In the case of Germany, national identity building and the problems of immigration are with deeply rooted within complicated history. The hypothesis of this thesis is as follows: immigration in modern the Federal Republic of Germany is an important component of constructing the national identity. Further the author presents various theoretical conceptions of identity, and then specifies the term of national identity and the ways immigration can influence the national identity building process. Further chapters are about the national identity of Germany, first in the German Empire and then after the unification in 1989.
