Magdičs A., darba vadītājs Dr. ķīm., Reinholds I. Maģistra darbs, 50 lappuses, 33 attēli, 5 tabulas, 40 literatūras avoti, 1 pielikums.
Investigation of thermo-physical and structure properties of modified polyethylene compositions with carbon nanotubes. Magdičs A., supervisor Dr.chem. Reinholds I. Master thesis, 50 pages, 33 pictures, 5 tables, 40 literature references. In Latvian.
The presented work is dedicated to investigation of medium density polyethylene compositions with carbon nanotube (CNT) nanofiller (0-5 wt.%), modified with ionizing radiation (accelerated electrons). The effect of nanofiller behaviour on the change of composition mechanical properties, the radiation-chemical processes after irradiation up to 1-2 MGy radiation doses has been investigated. Investigation of structure changes and mechanical properties indicate an influence of CNTs on decrease of oxidation behaviour, changes of polyethylene cross-linking with increase of the absorbed dose in the presence of increasing CNT content in composites that may affect an evaluation on the influence of fillers effectiveness in protection against the influence of ionizing radiation at such high absorbed doses.
