Mūsdienās tīmekļa vietnes piedāvā pakalpojumus, kuri ļauj tās lietotājiem veikt savstarpēju informācijas apmaiņu un saziņu. Pastāv problēma sniegt plaši pieejamu, lētu reāla laika komunikāciju starp tīmekļa pārlūka lietotājiem.Šo problēmas cenšas risināt atvērtā pirmkoda projekts ar nosaukumu WebRTC, kas uz tīmekļa pārlūkprogrammu bāzes ļautu veikt tiešus vienādranga savienojumus.
Bakalaura darba teorētiskajā daļa ir apzinātas WebRTC tehnoloģijas metodikas, izstrādes veidi un to to pielietojumi, ar kādiem iespējams saskarties WebRTC lietojumprogrammu izstrādē.
Darba ietvaros veiktajā praktiskajā daļa izveidota Chrome lietojumprogramma, kura izmanto WebRTC, kas izstrādāta balstoties uz autora iegūtajām zināšanām par atbilstošākās metodes izvēli konkrēta uzdevuma veikšanai. Nowadays, when the amount of webpages that offer their users the ability to communicate with each other grows, there still exists a problem. A problem to offer real time peer to peer communication between two users. Free, open sourced, peer to peer bases project called WebRTC is trying to solve the issue.
Bachelors theoretical part consists of identifying WebRTC - the components which it is made of, different development types and their use cases, which occur then trying to develop an WebRTC application.
Part of the Bachelors work consisted of a Chrome app development, which uses WebRTC and is built using the knowledge which that author gained during the writing process for choosing the best method for solving a specific task.
