Šī diplomdarba tēmas aktualitāti nosaka tas, ka Eiropa ir viens no būtiskākajiem pasaules finanšu, tirdzniecības un tūrisma centriem. Mūsdienās Eiropa ietver sevī vairāk nekā 50 valstis. Kā arī starptautiskais tūrisms spēlē nozīmīgu lomu iekšzemes kopprodukta veidošanā, ārējās tirdzniecības bilances aktivizēšanā, papildus darbavietu radīšanā un iedzīvotāju nodarbinātības nodrošināšana katrā valstī.
Diplomdarba mērķis ir starptautiskā tūrisma attīstības perspektīvu un tendenču analīze Eiropā un Eiropas loma starptautiskajā tūrisma pakalpojumu tirgū.
Diplomdarbs sastāv no teorētiskās literatūras apkopojuma par starptautiskā tūrisma teorētiskiem aspektiem, no analītiskās daļas, kurā ir aplūkota starptautiskā tūrisma pašreizējā situācija un attīstības problēmas Eiropā un praktiskās daļas, kurā veikta aptauja par starptautisko tūrismu Eiropā, kā arī no pētījuma rezultātu apkopojuma. The topicality of the subject of this Thesis is determined by the fact that Europe is one of the most important financial, trading and tourist centres of the world. There are presently more than 50 countries in Europe. We also have to consider the fact that international tourism plays an important role in the formation of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), in activating the foreign trade balance, in creating additional new jobs and providing local employment in every country.
The purpose of this Thesis is the analysis of the development of the perspective and tendencies in the international tourism in Europe and the role of Europe in the international tourism market.
This Thesis consists of the summary of the facts taken from theoretical literature on theoretical aspects of international tourism and of an analytical part, where the present situation of international tourism and problems of development in Europe are examined, and the practical part in which a survey on the topic of international tourism was conducted, and also the summary of the results of the survey.
