Bachelor thesis is written in Latvian on 31 pages, it contains 32 pictures, 2 tables, and 14 references.
Aim: To evaluate the appearance of vergence system fatigue during vergence measurements.
Participants and method: There were analyzed maximal velocity of vergence response and its appearance time in 20 participants if 1º vergence step stimuli were used.
Results: Maximal velocity of convergence showed no changes in all participants, appearance time – in one participant. Maximal velocity of divergence changed in five participants, appearance time – in one participant.
Conclusions: Experimental design showed no signs of possible fatigue and effect on convergence response, but affected divergence response – five participants showed decrease of maximal velocity. In divergence, appearance time of maximal velocity is affected by the direction of previous vergence response.
