Vilkmuižas ezera nogulumu veidošanās paleoģeogrāfiskie apstākļi un cilvēku klātbūtnes pazīmes

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis bija noskaidrot paleoģeogrāfiskos apstākļus Vilkmuižas ezera attīstības laikā un iespējamo cilvēku klātbūtni tā apkārtnē, veicot ezera nogulumu pētījumus. Darbā apkopota informācija par Vilkmuižas ezera izcelsmi, bet iegūtie rezultāti no ezera nogulumu analīzes ļauj noteikt iespējamo Vilkmuižas ezera veidošanās laiku, tā ūdens līmeņa svārstības, kā arī paleoveģetācijas izmaiņas ezerā un tā tuvākajā apkārtnē. Tāpat mēģināts rast pazīmes par cilvēku iespējamo klātbūtni pie Vilkmuižas ezera, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot pazīmēm, kas attiektos uz 11. 14. gs seno kuršu ugunskapiem Vilkmuižas ezerā. Bakalaura darbs satur 63 lapaspuses, 22 attēlus, 2 tabulas un 2 pielikumus.

The aim of the Bachelor’s thesis was to research the paleogeographical conditions of sediment formation of Lake Vilkmuiža in its formation process and possible traces of human presence, by analysing the lake’s sediments. This thesis summarizes the information about the origins of Lake Vilkmuiža but the acquired results from analysing the lake’s sediments indicate to the possible age of the lake, the water level fluctuations as well as to the paleovegetation in the lake and its surrounding area. Attempts to find traces of human presence at Lake Vilkmuiža are included, with special attention to any traces that would concern 11.-14. century cremation burials of ancient Kurshi at Lake Vilkmuiža. The Bachelor thesis consists of 63 pages, 22 figures, 2 tables and 2 appendixes.
