Pugnandi leksika Ovidija darbā „Metamorfozes”

Abstract

Bakalaura darba Pugnandi leksika Ovidija darbā Metamorfozes mērķis ir izpētīt pugnandi leksikas nozīmi poēmā Metamorfozes kā vienotā veselumā. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi, tiek apzināta zinātniskā literatūra un pētījumi par leksiku un semantiku, kā arī pētījumi par dzejnieka rakstības stilu un konkrēti poēmu Metamorfozes. Pugnandi leksika un attieksme, kuru dzejnieks caur to pauž, tiek pētīta, sadalot poēmā aprakstītās sadursmes tematiskajās grupās. Bakalaura darba gaitā tiek izpētīts, kāds ir cīņu aprakstu un tajos izmantotās leksikas mērķis visas poēmas kontekstā, piemēram, noteiktu vārdu atkārtots lietojums, vienas situācijas atkārtošanās dažādos mītos viscauri poēmai, alūzijas, kuras dzejnieks veidojis pats uz saviem un arī citu laikabiedru darbiem. Pētījuma laikā tika atklāts, ka pugnandi leksika ir viens no svarīgākajiem aspektiem poēmas emocionālā fona radīšanā, kā arī veids, kādā dzejnieks nodod lasītājiem savus uzskatus par pasaulē valdošo kārtību.

Bachelor’s thesis Pugnandi lexis in Ovid’s Metamorphoses aims to discover the role of vocabulary of pugnandi in the poem as a whole. In order to achieve the goal the author studied scientific literature and reaserches on vocabulary and semantics, as well as reaserches on Ovid’s literary style and poem Metamorphoses in particular. Vocabulary of pugnandi and the attitude, which the poet expresses trough it, is being studied dividing the strife episodes in thematic groups. The thesis shows what is the purpose of strife vocabulary in the context of the whole poem, for example, repeated use of certain words, situations that repeat in various myths and various contexts throughout the poem, allusions, made by the poet, not only to his own works, but the works of his contemporaries too. The thesis revealed, that the vocabulary of pugnandi is one of the most important aspects for creating the emotional background of the poem and also the poet’s way to share his views on the prevailing world order.
