G. Merķeļa teikas “Vanems Imanta” ietekme uz latviešu literatūru un kultūru 19. gs. beigās – 20. gs. sākumā

Abstract

Darbā sniegts vispārīgs laikmeta, sabiedrības un kultūras raksturojums, balstoties ne tikai uz teoriju, bet arī praktiski izpētot un salīdzinot trīs literārus darbus: baltvācieša G.Merķeļa teiku „Wanems Ymanta“, A.Pumpura „Lāčplēsi“ un Raiņa lugu „Uguns un nakts“. Darba uzdevumi: balstoties uz teoriju, veikt visu iepriekšminēto litarāro darbu analīzi, salīdzināt iegūtos rezultātus un izdarīt secinājumus, aplūkot iegūtos rezultātus laikmeta kontekstā. Pētījumā secināts, ka starp visiem trim darbiem pastāv ļoti daudz līdzību ne tikai sižetiskā, bet arī tēlu, laika un telpas risinājumu un idejiskā ziņā. Baltvācu rakstnieka darbs ietekmējis latviešu literatūras attīstību līdz pat mūsdienām.

This written work contains general survey about the epoch, which is based not only on theory but also on the practical research and comparison of three literary works: a Baltic german author’s tale “Wannem Ymanta”, Pumpurs’ “Lāčplēsis”(Latvian national epic) and “Uguns un nakts” by Rainis. Research tasks of this term paper: on the basis of theory carry out an analysis of the three above-mentioned literary works, to compare and analyze the obtained results and contemplate them in the context of the epoch. In this research the author has come to conclusion, that there are a lot of similarities between all three literary works not only in the context of the plot, but also in the context of the main characters, depiction of time and space and general idea. The literary work of the Baltic german author has influenced Latvian literature and culture up to the present.
