Emocionalitāte apsveikuma runās

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izskaidrot emocijas no dažādām perspektīvām, vairāk koncentrējoties uz kognitīvās lingvistikas emociju teoriju. Darbā arī tiek pētīta verbālās un neverbālās komunikācijas nozīme emocionālās valodas paušanā. Turklāt, tiek sniegts ieskats runas aktu teorijā, iekļaujot informāciju par runas aktu veidiem un funkcijām. Pētījuma empīriskajā daļa tiek analizētas Baltijas valstu politiķu apsveikuma runas. Tika pielietota kvantitatīvā izpētes metode. Tika veikta diskursa analīze, lai noteiktu emocionālās valodas iezīmes un funkcijas analizētajā runās. Kā arī tika veikta salīdzinošā analīze, lai salīdzinātu vīriešu un sieviešu apsveikuma runas. Veiktā analīze atklāj, ka sievietes savas runas padara vairāk ietverošas nekā vīrieši, kā arī sievietes daudz vairāk izmanto mākslinieciskās izteiksmes līdzekļus, lai izteiktu emocijas. Darbs sastāv no trīs daļām. Pirmā nodaļa tiek veltīta emociju teorijai, iekļaujot verbālos un neverbālos komunikācijas aspektus saistībā ar emociju paušanu. Otrā nodaļa pēta runas aktu teoriju, runas aktu veidus un funkcijas, kā arī tiecās izskaidrot apsveikuma runas kā runas aktu. Visbeidzot, trešā nodaļa tiek veltīta apsveikumu runu analīzei. Darbs noslēdzas ar atbildēm uz uzdotajiem pētījuma jautājumiem un teorētiskās analīzes galvenajiem secinājumiem, kā arī prezentē galvenos apsveikuma runu secinājumus.

The current paper aims to explain the concept of emotions from various perspectives, concentrating more on understanding of emotions from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. The paper also investigates the role of verbal and non-verbal communication in emotional language expression. Furthermore, an insight into the theory of speech acts, including speech act types, ans speech act functions is given. The empirical part of the research deals with the analysis of congratulatory speeches of politicians from Baltic region. The research method applied was quantitative research method. A discourse analysis was carried out to detect emotion language features and functions of the speeches. Also, a comparative analysis was carried out to compare the congratulatory speeches of males and females. The analysis reveal that women make their speeches more inclusive than men, and, also, women make use of a lot more of figurative expressions for expressing emotions. The paper consists of three parts. The first chapter is devoted to the analysis of the theory on emotions, including verbal and non-verbal aspects of communication as regards emotionality. The second chapter investigates the theory on speech acts, types of speech acts, and functions, and aims to define congratulatory speeches as speech acts. Finally, the third chapter deals with the analysis of congratulatory speeches. The paper concludes with providing the answers to the proposed research questions, the main points of theoretical analysis, and findings on the analysis of congratulatory speeches.
