Intertekstualitāte J.Toboso darbos par Melno virssulaini

Abstract

Intertekstualitāte ir plaši apspriests termins kopš tā izveides 60-tajos gados, un tas tiek izmantots literatūrzinatnē un mākslā. Taču interetekstualitātes nozīme ir atsvešinājusies no tās sākotējās nozīmes un rada neskaitāmus jautājumus par spīti plasajam pielietojumam. Vēl aizvien turpinās diskusijas par to, kas īsti ir intertekstualitāte, kādas ir tās īpašības, veidi un kāda ir tās ietekme. Tā liek mums uzdot jautājumu - cik ļoti mēs varam uzticēties autoram un viņa oriģinalitātei un patiesumam. Jūlija Kristeva skaidroja intertekstualitāti kā zīmju sistēmu pārvietošanu citā(s) sistēmā(s), un viņa centās apvienot Ferdināna de Sosīra semiotiku un Mihaila Bahtina dialoģismu. Mūsdienās intertekstualitāte tiek skaidrota kā tekstu rakstīšana, kuru saturā ir ietekmes no citiem darbiem. Tipiskas intertekstualitātes figūras ir alūzijas, citāti, kalkas, kā arī parodija, tulkojums un stilizācija. Šī darba mērķis ir izpētīt grafiskā romāna Melnais Virssulainis saturu, ko sarakstījusi un ilustrējusi Jana Toboso, fokusējoties uz intertekstualitāti. Lai sasniegtu šo mērķi, attiecīgā literatūra tika izlasīta un analizēta saistībā ar intertekstualitāti . 20 pieejamie sējumi grafiskajai novelei Melnais Virssulainis tika rūpīgi izlasīti, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot ne tikai dialogiem, bet arī ilustrācijām. Kvalitatīvā izpētes metode, kas balstīta uz satura analīzi, bija ļoti efektīva teorētiskā materiāla un grafiskās noveles izpētes procesā, un anketa, kas tika balstīta uz ekspertu metodes, sniedza interesantus un pārliecinošus rezultātus. Rezultāti parādīja, ka autore ir iekļāvusi daudz intertekstualitātes savā darbā, un tā darbojas vairākos līmeņos. Lai lasītājs varētu pamanīt un izprast šīs intertekstualiztātes, viņa jau esošajām zināšanām par dažādām tēmām ir nozīme. Grafiskajā romānā ir iekļautas dažādas vēsturiskas, kultūras un literāras alūzijas, citāti, stilizācijas un citas detaļas.

Intertextuality has been widely discussed since its creation back in 1960s and the term is used in wide range of literature forms and arts. However, the notion of intertextuality has deviated from its original meaning and it creates a lot of questions despite its wide usage. There are still on-going struggles with defining what exactly intertextuality is, what are its qualities and types and what kind of influence it has. It makes one question how much one can trust the author and his/her originality and truthfulness. Julia Kristeva explained intertextuality as a transfer of sign system(s) into another system(s) and she attempted to amalgamate Ferdinand de Saussure’s semiotics and Bakhtin’s dialogism. Nowadays intertextuality is described as creation of a text that holds influences from other works. The typical figures are allusions, quotations, calques as well as parody, translations and pastiche. The purpose of this research is the study of the graphic novel Black Butler, written and illustrated by Yana Toboso, focusing on the intertextuality in it. In order to achieve the goal the available literature on the topic of intertextuality was read and analysed. All the accessible 20 volumes of manga Black Butler were thoroughly read, paying close attention not only to the dialogues but also illustrations. The qualitative research method chosen, the content analysis was very effective in investigating both theoretical materials and graphic novel, and the questionnaire based on the Delphi method provided interesting and reassuring results. The results showed that the author has included a lot of intertextuality in her work and it works on multiple levels. For reader to spot and understand these, prior knowledge on various topics is of importance. There is a variety of historical, cultural and literary allusions, different quotations, pastiches and other interesting details portrayed and described.
