Abstract

Maģistra darbā “Drāmas žanra elementi Lūkiāna satīriskajos dialogos” tiek atklāta traģēdijas un komēdijas žanra elementu funkcija Lūkiāna darbos, īpaši izdalot tēlu un citu elementu ietekmi un pielietojumu. Drāmas ietekme Lūkiāna tekstos ir neapšaubāma un kalpo teksta izteiksmīgumam un citām funkcijām, kas saistās ar smieklīgā radīšanu tekstos, kā arī palīdz ar saistošāku vēstījumu autoram paust viedokli un vērtējumu par dažādām aktuālām tēmām. Kā liecina pētījuma rezultāti, izceļot satīrisko un ironisko, vienlīdz būtisks ir gan traģēdijas, gan komēdijas žanra elementu lietojums. Lūkiāns izmanto traģēdijas un komēdijas žanra tekstus kā pamatu, tādā veidā izvairoties no nepieciešamības papildus skaidrot notiekošo, tēlus vai sižetisko darbību. Tā rodas iespēja veidot īsus dialogus, kas savas kodolības dēļ ir efektīvāki smieklīgā un būtiskā akcentēšanas ziņā.

The thesis titled “Elements of Drama in Lucians’ Satirical Dialogues” outlines the function of the elements of tragedy and comedy in the works of Lucian, especially highlighting the impact and usage of characters and other elements. The effects of drama in the works of Lucian are without doubt present and serve several purposes, creating a more expressive text as well as forming the comical and helping the author voice his opinion and evaluation of various relevant topics in a more interlinked way. As the results of the research show, the use of both tragedy and comedy is equally important in highlighting the satirical and ironical aspects. Lucian uses the texts of tragedy and comedy as a basis, thus avoiding the need for explanation regarding the context. That provides the chance to create short, concise dialogues, which are more effective in achieving a humorous effect and stressing the significant.
