Abstract

Dotais maģistra darbs "Speciālās lietojuma valodas izmantošana zinātniskās informācijas attēlošanai statistikas nozarē" aplūko speciālās lietojuma valodas izmantošanu zinātniskos rakstos statistikas zinātnes nozarē, un šo rakstu tulkošanas īpatnības un problēmas.

Pirmajā daļā tiek aplūkota speciālās lietojuma valodas pamatdefinīcijas, tās nodalījumu no kopējās lietojuma valodas, speciālās lietojuma valodas iedalījumu un latviešu speciālās valodas vēsturi.

Otrajā daļā tiek aplūkota terminoloģija un tās pamatjēdzieni, terminu darināšanas un tulkošanas principi un terminoloģijas izstrāde Latvijā.

Trešajā daļā tiek apskatīti zinātniskie teksti, to rakstura iezīmes, zinātniskā diskursa kopiena un speciālās lietojuma valodas lietojums zinātniskajā kopienā.

Ceturtajā praktiskajā daļā tiek aplūkota statistikas nozare un tiek analizēti \textit{Open Journal of Statistics} statistikas žurnālā publicēto rakstu termini un attiecīgo rakstu struktūra.

This master thesis "Languages for Special Purposes in the Depiction of Scientific Knowledge in the Domain of Statistics" examines the usage of languages for special purposes in the written scientific texts within the domain of statistics and the characteristics and problems when translating these scientific texts.

The first part of this master thesis examines the main definitions for languages for special purposes, its separation from the main language, the classification of languages for special purposes and the Latvian history of languages for special purposes.

The second part examines the terminology and its main concepts, the principles for creating and translating terms and the terminology work in Latvia.

The third part examines the scientific texts, its characteristics, the sublanguage and its discourse domain.

The fourth practical part examines the domain of statistics and the analysis of scientific texts published in the Open Journal of Statistics according to their terminological and structural aspects.
