Abstract
Maģistra darba “2014. gada Krimas aneksijas ietekme uz ASV globālo dabasgāzes eksportu” uzdevums ir rast atbildi uz jautājumu, kādu iespaidu 2014. gada Krimas aneksija atstāja uz lēmumu pieņēmējiem, kas nosaka ASV globālo dabasgāzes eksportu. Pirmā darbā izvirzītā hipotēze prognozē eksporta atļauju izsniegšanas paātrināšanos, savukārt otra hipotēze – lēmumu pieņēmēju argumentācijas maiņu no vairāk ekonomiskas uz politisku. Gadījuma pētījuma ietvaros veiktā hronoloģiskā analīze noraidīja pirmo hipotēzi, savukārt daudzpakāpju kvalitatīvā kontentanalīze parādīja, ka lēmumu pieņēmēju argumentācija mainījās no racionāli ekonomisku uz kognitīvi politisku argumentu vadītu. Rezultātu interpretēšanā tika izmantotas Starptautisko attiecību teorijas un Valsts līmeņa teorijas par lēmumu pieņemšanu ārpolitikā.
The Master thesis “The impact of the 2014 Russian annexation of Crimea on U.S. Natural gas export” aims to explain what impact did annexation of Crimea made on decisionmakers regarding the U.S. global natural gas export. The first hypotesis is the expedit approval of the export permissions. The second hypotesis predicts that decisionmakers will switch from economy-driven arguments to political arguments. The time-series analysis of the case study proves that the first hypotesis is wrong, whereas the multi-level qualitative content analysis shows that the desicionmakers started to use more cognitive-political arguments instead of rational-economical arguments as the result of the annexation of Crimea. The results where interpreted using International Relation theories and State Level theories about decisionmaking.
