Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Eiropas art-house filmas un Berlīnes kinofestivāla Sudraba lāča balvas laureātes (2010-2014): semiotiskā analīze” tēma ir par mūsdienu vienu no prestižākajiem kinofestivāliem pasaulē, kurā tiek atzinīgi novērtētas Eiropas un pasaules klases filmas. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, definēt art-house tendences mūsdienu kino, veicot “Sudraba Lāča” laureātfilmu semiotisko un naratīva analīzi. Darbs sastāv no teorētiskās daļas, kurā tiks aplūkoti pētījumam piemērotākie apzīmējumi – semiotika, art-house, kinematogrāfija, autorkino un metodoloģiskās daļas, kurā tiks izklāstītas metodes (naratīva un semiotiskā analīze). Ar kvalitatīvās pētniecības semiotisko analīzes un naratīva analīzes metodi, empīriskajā daļā tiks izpētītas pēdējo 4 gadu “Sudraba lāča” godalgotās filmas laikaposmā no 2010. līdz 2014. gadam, un tiks noskaidrots viedoklis, cik lielā mērā filmās tiek atspoguļots art-house filmu iezīmes. Darbu noslēgs secinājumi.

The theme of the Bachelor paper is “European art-house films and the winners of Silver Bear award in Berlin Film Festival (2010-2014): semiotic analysis” is about one of the most prestigous contemporary film festivals in the world, in which European and world class films have been widely appreciated. The aim of the paper is to study, define art-house tendencies in modern cinema, to identify elements of art house cinema in Silver Bear award winners in the last four years by using semiotic and narrative analysis. The paper consists of theoretical part, which deals with semiotics, art cinema, cinematography, narrativu a methodological part which will set out the methods (narrative and semiotic analysis). With qualitative research methods such as semiotic analysis and narrative the empirical part will examine the Silver Bear award winners in the last four years – it will be clarified how the art-house features are manifested in films. The conclusions are provided at the end of the papper.
