Pēterupes evaņģēliski luteriskās baznīcas un draudzes vēsture (1945-1988)

Abstract

Šis bakalaura darbs ir par Pēterupes evaņģēliski luteriskās baznīcas un draudzes vēsturi lielākajā daļā no tā laika (1945.–1988.), kad Latvijas valsti bija okupējusi PSRS. Man bija svarīgi uzzināt, kā vispārējā valsts politika reliģijas jautājumos tika realizēta šajā konkrētajā baznīcā. Šis īsais, bet ļoti svarīgais, posms baznīcas vēsturē parādīja, cik liela nozīme baznīcas darbībā ir valsts attieksmei pret reliģiju. Ļoti svarīga šajā sarežģītajā laikā bija arī mācītāja personībai. Draudze sekmīgi darbojās visu padomju laiku. Par spīti tam, ka šis laiks reliģijai bija ļoti grūts, ir redzams, ka ar katru gadu rosme draudzē auga. Jo vairāk liberalizējās valsts politika pret reliģiju, jo vairāk cilvēku iesaistījās draudzes darbībā.

This bachelor’s work is about Peterupe Evangelical Lutheran church and parish history in most of the time when Latvia was occupied by the USSR (1945–1988). For me it was important to find out how countries religical policy were implemented in this church. This short, but very important time stage in history of this church, showed how import in the churches action was the national attitude toward religion. However, it was not the only one which mattered. Very important in this difficult time was also the personality of the pastor. The parish worked all the Soviet time. Despite the fact that this was a very hard time for religion, it is evident that with each year activity in the parish grew. The more liberal against religion was national policy, the more people involved in the parish work.
