Mikrobioloģiski ražojot ūdeņradi no jēlglicerīna, iegūst atjaunojamu enerģijas nesēju, kā arī lietderīgi izmanto atkritumproduktu - jēlglicerīnu.
Šajā darbā pētīja baktēriju spēju izmantot vietējās biodegvielas ražotnes jēlglicerīnu ūdeņraža producēšanai, kā arī ūdeņraža uzkrāšanas iespējas hidrīdu veidojošā metāla sakausējumā, tam atrodoties barotnē ar baktērijām.
Ar masspektrometriju noteica ūdeņraža daudzumu barotņu gāzes fāzē un noskaidroja, ka no izmantotajām baktērijām efektīvākās ūdeņraža producētājas no jēlglicerīna ir Enterobacter aerogenes. Kultivējot tās barotnēs ar dažādu jēlglicerīna koncentrāciju, par piemērotāko atzina koncentrāciju seši grami litrā.
Izmantojot termogravimetriju un masspektrometriju, noskaidroja, ka izvēlētais metāla sakausējums spēj saistīt ūdeņradi, atrodoties vidē ar baktērijām. In this work we studied the production of hydrogen by bacteria from crude glycerol obtained from a local biodiesel production plant, as well as the storage possibilities of hydrogen in a hydride-forming metal alloy that is placed in the medium with bacteria.
Amount of hydrogen in the gas phase sample was determined with a mass spectrometry, and it was discovered that the most productive hydrogen producers from crude glycerol are Enterobacter aerogenes. By cultivating these bacteria in media of different crude glycerol concentrations, optimal crude glycerol concentration was found to be six grams per litter.
With thermogravimetry and mass spectrometry it was made clear that the alloy used in this study can store hydrogen while placed in a medium with bacteria.
