Augstskolu un privāto uzņēmumu sadarbības analīze inovāciju radīšanā

Abstract

Inovācijas kļuvušas par vienu no galvenajiem uzņēmumu, reģionu, valstu konkurētspējas un attīstības rādītājiem, kam pievērsta arī teorētiķu uzmanība un veltīti virkne pētījumu. Zinātniskie autori, novērtējot inovāciju nozīmi mūsdienās, uzskata, ka inovācijas ir tautsaimniecības galvenais virzītājspēks un spēja radīt inovācijas ir viena no būtiskākajām priekšrocībām, kas ietekmē viena uzņēmuma, reģiona vai valsts attīstības pārākumu pār citu. Augstskolām ir būtiska loma inovāciju procesā. Īpaši, zināšanu un tehnoloģiju pārnese no augstskolām uz privāto sektoru spēlē arvien lielāku lomu jaunu ideju, produktu un pakalpojumu radīšanā vai uzlabošanā, tādejādi ietekmējot ekonomikas attīstību. Augstskolu zinātnisko institūtu un privāto uzņēmumu sadarbības veicināšana kā mērķis kļuvis par prioritāti virknē starptautisko, nacionālo līmeņa stratēģiju, tomēr realitātē šo mērķu sasniegšanu ietekmē virkne šķēršļu. Darba mērķis ir identificēt augstskolu un privāto uzņēmumu sadarbības šķēršļus un atbalstošos faktorus, balstoties uz inovāciju vides analīzi starptautiskā, reģionālā, nacionālā un augstskolas līmenī, un izstrādāt priekšlikumus sadarbības veicināšanai. Darba ietvaros izmantota kvalitatīvā izpētes metode – daļēji strukturēta intervijas, lai iegūtu augstskolu pētnieku un inovāciju ekspertu viedokļus par sadarbību ar privātiem uzņēmumiem.

Innovation has become one of the main indicators of competitiveness and development for enterprises, regions and countries. Many theoreticians work with this subject, as well as, many researches are dedicated to innovation. When assessing the role of innovation nowadays, researchers consider that innovation is the main driving force for the national economy and the capacity to create innovation is one of the most significant resource that explain the development superiority of one enterprise, region or country over the other. Higher education institutions play an important role in the process of innovation. In particular, the transfer of knowledge and technologies to the private sector is ever more important in creating or improving ideas, products and services, thus influencing the economic development. The aim of promoting cooperation between Higher education institutions and private sector has a priority in different international and national strategies. However, in reality not only mutual benefits but also different obstacles influence the achievement of this aim. The aim of the thesis is to identify the obstacles and benefits of the cooperation between higher education institutions and private enterprises on the basis of the analyses of the environment for innovation at international, regional, national and university level, and to come up with recommendations for promoting the cooperation. In the thesis, a qualitative research method is used – party structured interviews, in order to get to know the view of university researchers and innovation experts and their assessment of the cooperation with private sector.
