| dc.description.abstract | Maģistra darba „Rīgas pilsētas pašvaldības kapitālsabiedrību politikas izvērtējums” mērķis ir izpētīt Rīgas pilsētas pašvaldības kapitālsabiedrību darbības principus un izvirzīt priekšlikumus to pilnveidošanai. Darbā tiek pētītas Rīgas pilsētas pašvaldībai piederošās kapitālsabiedrības, to veidošanās mērķi un vēsturiskā attīstība, novērtēts Rīgas pilsētas pašvaldību kapitālsabiedrību peļņas vai zaudējumu aprēķins laika posmā no 2011.-2013. gadam un to radītās sekas, kā arī noskaidrota Rīgas pilsētas pašvaldību kapitālsabiedrību valdes priekšsēdētāju un valdes locekļu politiskā piederība. Pētnieciskajā daļā tiek atklāta sabiedrības attieksme pret SIA „Rīgas Satiksme” īstenoto sabiedriskā transporta biļešu cenu politiku.
Pamatojoties uz maģistra darba ietvaros veiktā pētījuma rezultātiem, tiek secināts, ka Rīgas pilsētas pašvaldības kapitālsabiedrību ievērotā politika netiek virzīta atbilstoši normatīvajos aktos noteiktajam prasībām.

| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the Master's Thesis „Evaluation of Riga’s city municipality companies policy” is analyze the operating principles of municipal corporations’ and to draft proposals for its improvement. The Master's Thesis includes a study of the Riga City owned municipal corporations, including the purpose of their formation and their historical development; an assessment of Riga City owned municipal corporations’ profit or loss calculations for the period of 2011 until 2013 and their consequences; as well as establishing the political affiliation of the chairmen and members of the boards of the Riga City owned municipal corporations. Within the research public opinion on the implemented ticket price policy of JSC “Rīgas Satiksme” has been studied.
Based on the study conducted, it has been concluded, that the policy implemented by Riga City owned municipal corporations is not run in accordance with regulatory requirements.
