Life Daba projektos atjaunoto dabisko zālāju stāvoklis aizsargājamo ainavu apvidū Ziemeļgauja un dabas liegumā Sitas un Pededzes paliene

Life projektu datubāzē atrodamā informācija liecina, ka 13 projektu ietvaros tika atjaunoti zālāji Latvijā. Zālāju atjaunošanā tiek ieguldīti sabiedriskie līdzekļi, taču nav zināms, cik tas ir ilgtspējīgi, un, vai tie tiek uzturēti pēc projektu noslēguma.
Bakalaura darbā skaidrots atjaunoto zālāju stāvoklis AAA „Ziemeļgauja” un DL „Sitas un Pededzes paliene”, izmantojot Dabas aizsardzības pārvaldē iegūtos datus, inventarizējot zālājus dabā, veicot intervijas ar teritoriju īpašniekiem.
Noskaidrots, ka 2013. gadā 0,7% no atjaunotajiem zālājiem abās teritorijās netika pieteikti Lauku attīstības programmas finansējumam. Zālāju atjaunošanās abās teritorijās norit veiksmīgi. Intervijās noskaidrots, ka teritoriju īpašnieki vēlētos iespēju saņemt lielāku finansējumu pēc projekta noslēguma, lai turpinātu zālāju apsaimniekošanu. In 13 projects natural grasslands in Latvia have been restored according to information found in Life project database. The process is being financed by public funding, but it is not known if it is sustainable and if the grasslands are being managed after the end of project.
In these Bachelor theses the condition of restored grasslands in Protected Landscape Area "Ziemeļgauja" and Nature Reserve "Sitas un Pededzes paliene" is explained through the data that was received from Nature Conservation Agency and collected when inventories were made. Also interviews with the owners of these areas were made.
0.7% from these areas of grasslands up to 2013 were not applied for funding from Rural Support Service. Grasslands in both areas are being restored successfully. After the interviews it was found that owners of these areas would like to get more funding to continue management of grasslands after Life project closes.
