Jaunā savādā žanra pazīmes Valērio Evandželisti "Eimeriha cikla" sākotnējā triloģijā

Abstract

Ingus Macata bakalaura darbs “Jaunā savādā žanra pazīmes Valērio Evandželisti “Eimeriha cikla” sākotnējā triloģijā”. Pētījumā izvirzīta hipotēze, ka Evandželisti romānu “Nikolass Eimerihs, inkvizitors”, “Eimeriha miesa un asinis” un “Eimeriha važas” raksturlielumi ļauj šos darbus klasificēt kā piederošus žanram jaunais savādais. Darbs ir sadalīts trīs nodaļās: pirmajā tiek aprakstīts jaunais savādais žanrs, otrajā tiek prezentēts Evandželisti un viņa darbi, kamēr trešajā nodaļā tiek analizēta Eimeriha cikla sākotnējās triloģijas un jaunā savādā žanra iespējamā saikne. Pētījums ir balstīts uz teorētisko avotu analīzi un trīs romānu sistēmisko analīzi. Iegūtais secinājums vēsta, ka sakarība starp Eimeriha triloģiju un jauno savādo žanru ir tikai daļēja, tātad hipotēze nav pilnīgi apstiprinājusies.

The bachelor thesis of Ingus Macats “Characteristics of the New Weird in the original trilogy of Valerio Evangelisti’s Eymerich series”. Its hypothesis is that the novels “Nicolas Eymerich, inquisitore”, “Il corpo e il sangue di Eymerich”, “Le catene di Eymerich” by Evangelisti have characteristics which permit their classification in terms of the New Weird genre. The thesis is divided in three chapters: the first introduces the New Weird, the second presents the works of Evangelisti, while a possible link between the two is examined in the third chapter. The study is based on an analysis of the theoretical resources and on systems analysis of the three novels. The obtained conlcusion states that the corrispondence of original Eymerich trilogy with the New Weird is only partial, and so the hypothesis turns out to be true only in part.
