Episkā stila elementi Ovidija poēmā „Metamorfozas”

Abstract

Bakalaura darba Episkā stila elementi Ovidija poēmā Metamorfozas mērķis ir apskatīt episkā stila elementu izmantojumu romiešu episkās dzejas darbā. Pētījumā ir pievērsta uzmanība episkā stila elementu izmantojuma atšķirīgajām funkcijām. Darbā izvirzīta hipotēze, ka Ovidijs, izmantojot episkā stila elementus, bet nesabalansējot tos ar tuvāko kontekstu, savā poēmā panāk komismu. Pētījumā tiek apskatīts dievu un varoņu attēlojums episkās dzejas elementu kontekstā. Darbs ir fokusēts uz nesaskaņu starp izmantoto elementu raksturu un stāstā attēlotajiem notikumiem un personāžiem. Darba ietvaros tiek pētīta Ovidija poēma Metamorfozas, kas kā romiešu episkais dzejas darbs ir salīdzināts ar Homēra Odiseju un Īliādu.

The goal of bachelor thesis titled Elements of epic style in Ovid's Metamorphoses is to examine the use of epic style elements in Roman epic poem written by Ovid. The study focuses on the different functions of epic style elements. The paper propounds a hypothesis that Ovid achieves comic effect with elements of epic style while not according them with story line and characters. The gods and heros depiction is examined in the context of epic style elements. The paper is focused on the incongruence between the nature of epic style elements and the nearest context. During the study, Ovid’s poem Metamprphoses was examined as Roman epic poetry and compared to Homer’s Odyssey and Iliad.
