Trīs klasiskās teorijas par cilvēka dabu Sjuņdzi, Mendzi un Gaodzi filosofijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Trīs klasiskās teorijas par cilvēka dabu Sjuņdzi, Mendzi un Gaodzi filozofijā” tiek sniegts ieskats vienā no nozīmīgākajām filozofiskajām diskusijām Ķīnas vēsturē. Darba mērķis ir detalizēti iepazīstināt Ķīnas kultūras un filozofijas interesentus Latvijā ar trīs teorijām par cilvēka dabu, kuras Karojošo Valstu periodā izvirzīja Mendzi, Gaodzi un Sjuņdzi, lasītājam pašam ļaujot izvēlēties, kurai no tām dot priekšroku. Darbā iekļauti citāti no „Mendzi” un „Sjuņdzi” traktātiem, kuru tulkojumus latviešu valodā veikusi darba autore. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no trīs daļām, kurās tiek skaidrota ‘cilvēka dabas’ jēdziena rašanās un formulēšana, Mendzi, Gaodzi un Sjuņdzi atšķirīgās izpratnes par šo jēdzienu. Lasītājs tiek iepazīstināts ar Mendzi dzīvi, viņa filozofiju un teoriju par cilvēka labo dabu, kā arī Sjuņdzi dzīvi, viņa filozofijas galvenajām iezīmēm un teoriju par cilvēka ļauno dabu.

The Bachelor’s paper “Three Classical Theories about Human Nature in the Philosophy of Xunzi, Mencius and Gaozi” gives an insight into one of the most important philosophical debates in the history of China. The aim of this paper is to introduce in detail three theories of human nature, which during the Warring States period were advanced by Mencius, Gaozi and Xunzi, to those Latvians who are interested in the culture and philosophy of China. It is for the reader to decide which of these theories he prefers. This paper includes quotations from “Mencius” and “Xunzi” which were translated in Latvian by the author of this paper. This paper consists of three parts which explicate the origin and formulation of the concept of human nature, different views of Mencius, Gaozi and Xunzi regarding this subject. The reader is introduced to the life and philosophy of Mencius, his theory of good human nature, as well as the life of Xunzi, the main characteristics of his philosophy and his theory of evil human nature.
