Darba tēma ir “No Latvijas uz Vāciju emigrējušo jauniešu transnacionālais dzīvesveids”.
Pētījuma problēma – jauniešu transnacionālā dzīvesveida dimensiju intensitātes atšķirības un piederības sajūtas izmaiľas pēc pārcelšanās.
Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādās ikdienas darbībās, uzskatos un sajūtās izpauţas no Latvijas uz Vāciju emigrējušo jauniešu transnacionālais dzīvesveids.
Teorijas daļā tiek aplūkota transnacionālisma jēdziena attīstība un aktualitāte mūsdienās, kā arī apskatīti pētījumi par transnacionālismu, migrāciju un piederību.
Metodoloģijā izmantotas daļēji strukturētās intervijas un datu analīzei izmantotas teorijā pamatotā pieeja un salīdzinošās metodes.
Rezultāti liecina, ka laika gaitā jauniešiem ir izveidojušās kvalitatīvi atšķirīgas piederības sajūtas katrai valstij. Pārrobeţu dzīvesveidu visizteiktāk raksturo sociālie tīkli, lokalitātes (re)konstrukcija un ekonomiskā kapitāla plūsma. Vismazāk to raksturo kultūras un politiskā dimensija. Title of the thesis ir “The transnational lifestyle of young people that have emigrated form Latvia to Germany”
Problem of the research – the differences in the intensity of the transnational lifestyle of young people and the changes of place attachment after moving.
The aim is to identify in what everyday practises, views and feelings appears the transnational lifestyle of young people that have emigrated from Latvia to Germany.
The theoretical part deals with the evolution and topicality nowadays of the term “transnationalism” and reviews of latest researches on transnationalism, migration and place attachment.
Empirical research was based on semi-structured interviews and the data was analyzed with theory-based approach and comparative methods.
Results show that in the course of time interviewees have developed qualitatively diverse place attachment feelings for each country and the transnational lifestyle is most prominently characterized by social networks, (re)construction of „place‟ or locality and avenue of capital. It is least characterized by cultural and political dimensions.
